i get 2nd and 4th every so often.. sometimes i'll admit it's my fault.. but i really think my clutch/ tranny is fucked up but according to them it's "normal" it never seems like my clutch engages at the same place.. before i had my clutch master cylinder replaced i used to grind daliy.. so i'm sure it's just residual fuckup from that.. but it'sbullsit

signed though... i'm sure it'll be worse in a month or so lol

My 1st Gear Grinds Hard Its Like The Adjustment Is Out On Clutch Or Some Thing And One Of My Trany Or Lsd Mounts Are Clicking When I Engage The Clutch. Ive Taken My Car In Twice And They Still Cant Find It, They Diagnosed That The Little Switch Under The Clutch To Engage Ignition Was Clicking To Loud And Replaced That Instead And Intermediate Shaft Which Is Rattling Again, Wtf Its Like If Their Computer Doesnt Say Any Thing They Dont Bother Try Getting The Car On A Hoist And Looking Under The Fukin Car, Hmmm Theres A Concept. The Two Dealers I Go To Couldnt Diagnose A Flat Tire And I Wont Be Back To Them. Fukem!

stealership did the same for me. took it in 3 times and they couldnt find it. I took it in the last time and replicated the problem with the tech in the car.

Dropped it off and said "when its fixed call me, until then, find the problem"

Yep thats bassically the way to do it man. There is NOTHING in their warrenty that says you don't have the right to drop it off and demand they take a look. I've given them a few fair chances, I'm taking it to another dealership on the other end of town now and if the guy who comes for a ride with me says everything is ok, I'm leaving it with them and demanding a courtesy car.

I'm sick of this crap service, I've had the car down to Midas to go for a spin with me and they say the tranny is fucked, but GM says its just fine. The guy from midas got into third and already realised something wasn't right. Hell, the guys at GM that have been out with me I can see them hiding not feeling or hearing things. Looking at the shifter when the car grinds saying "I felt nothing" or trying to talk over the grinding. ******* morons, and they expect people to come back after this ****?

the epic saga of the GM stealership continues.

I get my car back and look over every inch of my paint. low-and-behold i see a ding on my door that looks popped out. I was like WTF is that ****? The manager of this stealership keeps insisting that it wasnt done on his lot.

This ****** is such a god damn liar i almost wanted to file a police report right then and there. Then he tries to tell me that it was from the inside of the door and that it had to have been hit from there. I dont see the welds broken and my interior looked fine.

to me "occums razor"
They dinged it, pulled the dent out, and blamed my lambo door installers (eg me) that did it. I called my insurance up and they stated it would be under collision. ugh.... that wont work so i cancled the claim to avoid my rates going up. Im about to sue over this crap just to put heat on this stealership.

GM is a bunch of loosers. I'm seriously considering switching to Dodge or something after this. I doubt their service is much better when it comes to this stuff, but I just really refuse to give GM any more of my money if this is how their going to treat me, and all the rest of customers. I don't care what the **** car they come out with next, or how nice I think it is, this is getting ******* annoying and I refuse to deal with this **** again. I'll turbo the damn car when my financing is up and sell it to some stupid 18 year old ricer. Maybe that way I can get SOMETHING out of this deal.

I think this would be invaluable to all the people that have had 2nd gear grinding or breaking issues to submit to the stealerships about this "supposed" abuse or "working as intended" crap. Goal here is to see to what extent and how many people have come across this problem with the f23 f35 transmissions. (yea i screwed up the other one and stated f25 but you get the idea).

nominated for sticky to present to dealerships.

modified for 3rd and 4th gears as well

Signed

Also there should be a recall or petition on these crappy axles in these cars (SS/SC)
I going to have a second set put in my balt and it hasnt even been a year sense the last ones where replaced and I dont beat on my balt at all.

It is my daily driver and all i do is highway driving (about 100 miles a day)

Im begining to beleive this car should be dropped from chevys line up.
Hope they revised the 2008's

yea the axles have been notorious for snapping under pressure. I havent had issues with them personally but I do know they are thin.
