Option b install help

This may be a stupid question but I couldn't find an exact answer. I ordered my Option B kit and was looking at the install instructions. ZZP is drilling into the intake manifold for the breather line. I always thought the breather hose goes to the bleeder on the stock HE? Do you have to drill into the intake manifold or does everyone connect it to the HE?

Also, does the main coolant hose replace the filler tube of the system using a T-connector to connect all three hoses?

Thanks for the help

Drilling the manifold would make option B more efficient, you can still go to the top of the HE, just from the research zzp has done that is where option B will perform best.

Yes you delete the t filler neck and basically y it in after where the return lines out of the endplate connect

I really don't feel like taking it all apart to drill into the manifold, nor do I want to drill into the manifold. Is there a big difference between drilling into the manifold and just putting it on the HE to make it worth the trouble?

I used the breather on top of my stock he. Works fine for me. I also did not like the idea of drilling into my intake manifold.

This is exactly where I'm at and wondering. can't I just screw the brass piece into my stock intercooler and shove the clear tube on it and connect the clear tube to the long thin piece of the over fill container?

Yup, and I can't stress the importance of having your hoses routed cleanly and neatly... Highly advise taking a look at staged07's thread on their set-up. The whole system operates best with the reservoir higher then the rest of the system... I leaned in my case that I had to organize the ones coming off the intake manifold a little more neatly and had them pointing lower to make the system work better

I placed my reservoir on the passenger side with a bracket and slides right over those two stubs. Should I put something under it? I need enough clearance to close my hood

When it's connected properly. Will there be a constant stream through the clean tube shooting into the reservoir tank?

Also not to blow up this thread when I look my Laminova cores out part of them were semi rusty. Is that a big deal or maybe because my pump was fucked for so long?
