Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

Outside Air Temperature Sensor????

My outside temperature says 57 degrees F, when it is atleast 80 degress outside

Replace it. Its connected to the driver side headlight bracket...

Give it or day and make sure, sometimes mine is way off then just magically fixes itself. Not often, but it happens.

mine does the same thing, will freeze at a certain temp, then after a mile or so of driving goes to what it really is.

mine doesnt work at all
it just reads --- but then sometimes when its really really cold itll say like -21 degrees
other than that it doesnt work

Those sensors take time to update the temp on the cluster.

if its reading it most likely isn't broken.

When it gets that cold everything contracts so I'm guess its a bad connection somewhere that connects when it shrinks down in the real cold weather.
