P0099 code 09 cobalt ss
Hoped I'd never have to post in this section. But, here I am, asking for a little help from you guys. I was driving along, minding my own biz and she start buckin a little. So I ease a long, in hopes that I make it home. Then on comes the cel, followed by no go when I open the throttle. I pull off the road, and the engine dies. It started back up but was barely running, and the exhaust was smelling hot, and pretty lean. Read the code, and it's a P0099 code INTAKE AIR TEMP HIGH
Towed home, and this morning start it up to move it into the garage, and it started and ran like normal. Checked al maf's connections. No smoking gun.
I should add, the night before I started it up and was driving but no boost, and at each shift I got turbo flutter. Pull over, shut off, start it back up and back to normal. I just figured must be time to clean the bpv.
I have zzp ported head, stage one cams with the larger fuel pump lobe, zzp charge pipes, and larger ic, zzp high flow catted down pipe, Hahn cai, and Hahn cat back exhaust, and the upgraded 3 bar maf's not relocated, stock turbo, stage 4 sb clutch, Tuned to run on 93 octane. Also forgot, pos catch can, (soon to be taken off and replaced with powell's pcv. car has 112000 miles on it, but only 16000 on the head and other zzp upgrades. Stored winters daily driven 35 miles each way on the highway. Not driven hard, except for the occasional 2nd, or 3rd gear pull onto the highway.
Any help, would be greatly appreciated.
