So I have had this same issue recently...does your car stumble when at cruise at all? I also see inconsistencies with fuel trims when logging. I just put on a new MAF connector and a new MAF sensor. Haven't had a chance to drive and log yet, but has the new connector helped you at all?

No Dice the turd is at it again on the way into work this morning

I've tried...

Changing MAF
Changing MAF connector
Reinstalled stock airbox
New intake Filter
ECU connections are fine
MAF Wires are fine
I posted a vid of voltage tests, nobody commented so I'll assume its fine...

I haven't tried cruise control at all but it's most obvious on the highway when you try to give it gas it just does nothing...

Car runs fine MAF unplugged so I'll drive it until my Etest is due then, probably just drive it off a cliff or something I'm getting fed up with it.

If I have some time this weekend I'll check the voltage on my maf to compare it to yours. I've just been very busy lately, I certainly would like to see you figure out what is going on to help with others down the road.

lol ah it's all good... It's not that I expect help...it's electrical problems make me irrationally frustrated

But it's much appreciated thanks man

Today we had another junker cobalt come through at our wrecking facility (perks of working for a recycling conglomerate lol) so I drove over and grabbed another harness and MAF (was from a 2007+ base sedan)

I swapped its maf AND harness in at work and the drive home the car drove perfectly.

If it drives well tomorrow to work and back I'll post...though not holding my breath I sincerely hope it's fixed....

So that's a total of

x5 MAF sensors, x3 connectors and x3 2.2 airboxes I have laying around now ahah

How much of the harness did you replace?

Side note, what recycler do you work for? Do any ASR metals recovery?

Well hope the new connector ends up solving the issue for me too...have been away for work so I have't had a chance to drive her. If it's still f'd let me know when you are gonna drive it off that cliff because I may join ya lol.

Well it's been a few days now and the car is running well, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it was the harness

Bump for follow up answers

I am having the same issues, p0100 and p0458 which basically boil down to no power to the maf and the evap solenoid, but the 10 amp EXH fuse is fine. Stevo did you fix turn out the be a permanent solution to your issue?
