By the way, it's not just our cars getting this code. I have a good buddy that works at a local dealership that said even some trucks and suv's have been coming in with the same code. More so, the ones with K&N filters. Not sure if they had the intake or just filter, but..Anywayz..

I have the Injen CAI, but it's not because of the intake that we're getting the lean code, it's because of the...Colder then a witches boob in a bronze bra, weather.

Not tuned..Yet..If you had read towards the end of my post you would have noticed that I mentioned that a fellow tech at a dealership has had numerous trucks and SUV's coming in with the same code. They aren't even modded, it's just that cold. It happens...Our rides are just telling us they want warmer climate...lol

 

Thats why we have IAT sensors, luckily, the PCM adjusts fuel accordingly due to weather and altitude. As for the unmodded rides throwing codes, search "I put my car back to stock and took it to GM for warranty work" and you'll see how many people who throw codes under warranty are really stock.

Then get outta the cool club, dork..LOL!! Good to hear, I cleared out the code with my interceptor and it hasn't come back. Weird time of day to get it too, was like 10ish as opposed to when it was colder and earlier. Ahh well, just have to be a little nicer till my cams, valve springs, 60's and tune get done..WOOOT!!

I had it too...I thought is was because I got the stage 2 put in 2 days ago, but I took it back to the dealer and they said everything was good. Its just the weather

 

JBP's Triflow Stage2 cams and their Valve Springs. They're good up to 7800rpms, but I only need 7200 of that. Better safe then sorry.
