p0171 with cold air

p0171 with cold air

i have a 2.4 cobalt and i have a p0171 code that has been going and i cant manage to keep it off i cleaned out my intake filter of the oil and my maf with a spray cleaner and cleared the code and it is still coming on does anyone have any suggestions.

o yea and i have an aem cold air intake

How did you get an Oiled AEM filter? They should be dryflow.

Try unplugging the battery for about twenty minutes and letting the computer reset

Maybe that's your problem...oiling a dri-flow filter? Not trying to flame, but sometimes the obvious is the most reasonable.

My 2.2L has had one on for a good 2 weeks now. Probably the change in air density and temperature.
