P0302

as some of you now i upgraded to a stage 2. 60s,2.8, trifecta tuned. i was going to the city last night and i had a check engine light on. went to autozone, and it threw that P0302 missfiring cylinder 2. today i took my spark plugs out and noticed three of them were fine, and one was black. so i hooked up the coil to it and grounded it and had my dad start it. its sparking just fine. so im wondering if my injectors are dirty. i put in that techron fuel cleaning in my car. also when i was tuned i was in lower elavation. i think there at 4500, where im at is 6800. so im wondering if the injectors need to be adjusted for my elavation. teh plugs are gapped to .32. ill go gap them to .34 to see if it feels better or not.

I would say no if it was an altitude thing it would be misfireing on all 4 cylinders, not just 2. Sounds like #2 is running rich. Maybe just that ONE is dirty. Doubt it's the altitude. P0302 is #2 cylinder Misfire, if your plugs are fine, and one is dirty but sparks ok, im betting #2 is the one whos dirty... Since you JUST installed a sate 2 kit, and your dirty plug fired just fine, id suspect that you may have a #2 injector problem. If you want since it's eayser to swap coil packs you can try that first #2 and #3. Clear the code, and see if you get P0303 (meaning the problem swaped to #3 cylinder). Or if you think its the injectors, go ahead and swap #2 and #3 injectors, and look for code P0303 (#3 Cylinder Misfire)
Or try running Lucas Injector Cleaner in it.
