i just replaced my crankshaft position sensor yesterday. i was throwin a P0336 and a P0338 code. after i replaced my CKP sensor both codes were gone. but my P0338 code just popped back up this mornin. can anyone help out with fixin this?

 

dont you have two of those sensors?

Crank variation learn needs to be done by the dealer(requires a tech 2)

 

well when i replaced it, i was lookin through the hanes manual and it told me how to do the PCM relearn so i did everything it told me to do except for the very last step which was let it idle for 2 minutes or until the idle returns to normal with the parking brake set. but it ran just fine the whole time i was doin the relearn so i thought it was fine. but i did the relearn again last night and followed every little step meticulously and now the code is gone and its runnin strong.
