P0650 Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) Control Circuit
I hooked up a system to my car this weekend and everything was working fine. I used the windshield wiper fuse as a remote. I ran the car fine yesterday and part of today until I just went to get into and the amp did not turn on . My first instinct was that the fuse blew but it was fine. I thought that the remote wire maybe was messing with it so i took it out and put the fuse back in and still nothing. Im not getting any power to the wiper fuse. I check all the other fuses in the car and under the hood and found that one labeled IP IGN under the hood was blown so i replaced it and still nothing. I then decide to just deal with it later and try to leave no sooner than i start to back up out of my driveway when i notice that i have no power steering and i get a message on my driver information center that says service air bag. I turn off the car and hook up an OBDII scan tool to it and it pulls a code that says Error P0650: Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) Control Circuit. I checked a little online and all i can find is that there is an open circuit somewhere but have no idea where. I checked all the fuses again and they were all fine. Anyone have any idea what that circuit is and how to go about fixing it? If not I may end up just taking it to the dealership

Okay : the I/P ign is 20 amps it feeds power to the bcm ,your run crank relay feeds the power to the i/p ign circut (That way all you accessories go of when starting the car.
That circut feeds the wiper circut 10 amp fuse(15) the air bag circut 10 amp fuse(13) power sterring circut 2 amp fuse(19) and your hvac/i/p ign circut 10 amp fuse(16)
You have a serious wiring problem if the 20amp i/p ign fuse isnt blown and all that stuff doesnt work.
1- check 20 amp i/p ign fuse
2-check for power at wiper fuse(15) if power to the wipers and not the power steering I would say you smoked a trace in the BCM
3-if no power on any(wipers ,power steering ,air bag etc) and the 20amp I/P ign under the hood is good you have to ring out the wire between the fuse box and the bcm
Fuse box Connector C5 (pin A2) to bcm connector C3 (pin D6)
Are you sure that remote power on wire for the amp you hooked to the wiper circut is not shorted to ground ? Better check but for now unhook it.
Check you PM

Thanks for the help you really know what your talking about. However the help came too late, the car is already at the dealership be looked at. We will see what the find out.
If you look closely at my first post i did blow the I/P IGN fuse under the hood. The way i think i did this now was from trying to wire the amp remote switch differently so the stupid LED would only be on when the switch was on which resulted in grounding out the wiper fuse. I replaced the I/P IGN fuse and nothing changed. It sound like option 3 is what is wrong. How hard is that to do? If the dealership farts around I may just take my car back and fix it myself.

Do the wipers work, and the power steering is fine then the power is getting there and the wire will be okay.
sometimes looking at the fuse isnt good enough, you have to check for continuity with a ohm meter.

Get somebody to turn your ignition off and on while you rest your finger on the RUN/CRNK relay to see if you feel it energize.
If you have a meter turn on your ignition and pull the 20A ip/gn fuse and check to see if power is there.
The wire between the fuse box and the bcm is connector C5 pin A2 at fuse box and connector C3 pin D6 at the bcm.
Looking for a drawing that shows which connetor is what.
Other wise I say you fried the BCM module.
