P1516 code! Starts only 1/4 of the time

hey everyone its been awhile
05 Cobalt 2.2
so the other day i went to start my car after work and it wouldnt even turn over... WTF runs through my head power was good headlights nice and bright but what the heck so i tried boosting it and nothing. eventually after about 45mins of trying it finally started like nothing was wrong since then i got the p1516 code Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) code while i was driving on the hi-way. I reset the code and it has not come back but my car still wont start without trying for 5-10 mins!
Anyone else ever have this problem or any idea what to do?
Thanks
Wadsy

Your ignition is probably wore out and need to be replaced if its a automatic, could also be your park /neutral switch try starting it in neutral see if that makes any difference.

If its a standard clutch switch could be the problem or ignition but check the clutch switch first alls it might need is adjusting.

Dont worry about that code unless it comes back, pobably caused it when you were trying to start it ,

ya its a standard and ive checked the clutch swith it is good. the code was tripped when i was on the hiway for about 2hrs then it came on. i cleaned the carbon off the plate in the throttle body hoping that would help seeing as there is no throttle cable its all done by sensors. It didnt help

i cleaned the throttle body and it still has the problem so i ended up taking it to a gm shop and 200 bucks later he tells me my spark plugs have some corrosion on them... im like thats the reason the starter wont engage? he said no thats not why. i ask why then he says it can be alot of things... then i started getting mad. grrr then he tells me its fine. last i checked a car is suppose to start when you want it to not when it wants to. sorry im just ramblin on getting some anger out. i dont know what to do now
