p2177? 0 boost.

So, little bit about what's going on. I've been having weird 0 boost issues... car will run fine, then out of nowhere, 0 boost, and maf codes. If I turn the car off then back on, it's fine. No boost leaks, checked thoroughly. So i replaced my k&n intake with the stocker and zzp tube to see if that was the issue, and the original codes went away. Now i'm getting 3 codes. 2 are p2177 (idle lean bank 1) and p0101 (maf performance).

Is this just a tuning issue because i changed the intake? I need to get rid of this POS trifecta tune, but I won't retune until i know 100% that the tune with the intake is causing the issues. Also, i installed a ZZP intercooler kit but haven't retuned for it.

I've checked for boost leaks, and my spark plugs and gap. Everything seems fine.

All input is appreciated.

Like 99% of MAF codes are for a boost leak, especially if you are getting a lean code too. That means you are having unmetered air entering your system through a leak. Checking and just tightening clamps isn't going to do it. You need to do a proper pressure/boost test.

See that's what I don't get, a boost leak will not bring in unmetered air because a boost leak is post turbo and the air is being pushed. I will always lose air never gain air through a boost leak, even if ur at idle the turbo is still pushing air. Like when I had a bov that was open at idle, air was coming out , non was sucking in. So how can u get unmetered air with a boost leak. Does the maf not throw the code cause it's metered air is dissapearing from the system?

Well, from my understanding, of researching last night, a lean code can usually be caused by a vacuum leak. I think this weekend I'm going to replace all my vacuum lines, they are old asf anyways.

So what was the cause of this issue. I'm having the same problem with my 09 SS. I have full bolt ons except a factory bov and downpipe and I have hp tuning. It usually hits 20 - 23 psi and one day it decided to do the same as your car and make this weird jerk and then only hit 0psi. Maybe 1psi if I'm lucky haha. I took off everything and checked everything for holes, cracks, etc. (bov and such also) and I slowly put it all back together making sure it's all good. I reset my car and went for a test ride and drove good for a minute or two, then came that jerk and the 0psi Prius power. I know I checked every sensor to be plugged in and made sure there wasn't a losse connection to any hose and I made sure there wasn't a leak in my piping/intercooler. If anyone can help I will cry with happiness lol. And I'm new to this so idk how to use it or such so please forgive me.
