Were you shut the door the leather is coming undone. Any one else have this problem. I'm taking to the dealer this weekend.

Pretty much every SS has had this problem, when I took mine into the dealer they replaced the material in the trim panels at a upholstery shop instead of ordering new panels.

 

not mine , just that damn sunroof button trim.

 

its not just a issue with the ss either , alot of the LS's LT's and base cars ive seen alot had that problem

 

As far as ive been told... even if you get a knew one it will do the same thing... A tech had told me he called some kind of GM tech line concerning this problem and was told that they were "reviewing the problem and deciding on a solution" who knows what that means or whether its the truth.. just what I was told.... I have 5500k mi and mines been peeling since like 2k.... I havent decide whether ill get it replaced yet or wait till I hear of a final solution..

 

My trim is fine, but I have an air bubble in the red insert! The dealer pointed it out when I picked up the car last Wed and said the new insert is already on order. Air bubble!

 

That's true. Mine is pulling away too. Noticed it at about 700 miles, now have just over 1K. I'm waiting to see what (if anything) GM does about this obviously common problem.
