Wanted to pick your brains. My "new" 2010 Cobalt SS's Reconfigurable Performance Display (RPD) isn't functioning.

Issue: The RPD screen displays "Safe Mode" in the top left hand corner.

Vehicle runs fine. Super bummed though that this display doesn't work. Checked fuses. Disconnected battery.

Ended up dropping the RPD off at Caton Radio in MD to see if they're able to repair.

Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.

 

did you check any of the fuses that the RPD uses to see if it blew? i cant remember what it was but maybe check fuse #16, 29 or 7?

 

@fst100 - I did check the fuses, however, I was unable to determine the issue. Canton Radio in MD ended up sourcing me a RPD (one of their suppliers). Gave me $500 for the core (broken RPD) and I paid $450 for the new one. Worked out.
