Angry please help

i cant get my stock shift knob off


i pulled like hell and the ****** still wouldnt come off

is their a video or pictures on how to do it ?

you took off the little tab and took out the bolt from underneath it right?

and then i tried pulling it off and it just wont come off

best way is to bet large pliers and pull but you will end up scratching the leather up

You need team work on that one! Have one person pry up with 2 flat head screwdrivers between the RL mechanism and the shift knob itself, and another one pulling up on the shift knob, it'll come loose. That's how I do all my installs and it's proven to be the fastest and most efficient way of doing it. Make sure the plastic tab with the shift pattern is removed as well as the torx screw under it.
