I got my moms car over here. She has a 2006 Cobalt SS S/C. I am trying to let the sunroof down but it wont close properly. I tryed pushing it down while the button held down. I tryed looking to see if something was blocking it. No luck. Can anyone help me. It might rain here IN GA so I need to get this fixed for my mom. She is on vacation and im taking care of her car. Thanks for any help !!!

 

iv ehad the same prob. DONT keep pushing the button the roof track will brake1

 

the reason is thetrack is off , there is a little bump up on the track and it is out of place causeing one conor not to go down. u have to move the bump or move the arm on the roof that slides in the track

 

well the back corner is the one that wont go down. I will get a flat head screw driver and give it a try and see what has happened. Thank and I let yall know how it turns out hope I dont break anything.

 

well I went out side and tinkered with it a little bit. No luck. There is a little slide that gets to the top and wont go any further. On the other side the slide goes all the way forward. I also found a broken peice dangling off the slider unit but I took it out and it didnt affect it in any way opening or closing no idea what it is for. I tryed pushing the slider with a screwdriver while I push the button but it gets stuck right there in that one place. I tryed to look to see if it was getting stuck on something but the glass is in the way and I cant tell fully. My moms in the bahama's so I cant get intouch with her to tell her the problem. I guess it needs to go to the dealership sinse it was warranty issue. This is the 2nd time it has been to the dealership for something faulty lol.
