I don't know exactly what's going on with my car. I have a 2006 Cobalt LS 2.2L Ecotech. I went to drive it today and my tach and speedometer went crazy and started jumping around without any change to engine sound and the screen looked like this --> ----------- instead of showing the temperature/miles etc. also the center warning/information lights came on for strange things such as the airbag light and brake light both came on and stayed on. I assume this is an ECU problem but could it just be a bad fuse??? I don't know alot about engines and even less about electrical issues. Hope somebody can help me figure out whats wrong and how to fix it.

 

My only suggestion is to disconnect the battery for 10 mins, then try again.

If that doesn't help sounds like a BCM issue.
