Possible Problem

So this may just be because it Texas weather with temperatures up to and above 105 degrees right now but im seeing coolant temps at 205, 207, a few 210s, and once, just once at 217, these are way to high, I turn the ac to 4 and on hot and vented out the window, any thoughts, low coolant levels, cant be a leak cuz the temps would have risen faster than it did

Mine have hit this high before, and I know other people's have.

You can tune your car so the fans come on earlier. That might/should fix your problem

my main concern was it getting towards 220, i turned the hot air on at that point to cool it down, it may or may not have gotten higher

Here you guys are,If your worried and you should do so only if you hit these temps and the fans are not running.

The ECM commands Low Speed Fans ON under the following conditions:

• Engine coolant temperature (ECT) exceeds approximately 106°C (223°F).

• A/C refrigerant pressure exceeds 1 310 kPa (190 psi).

• After the vehicle is shut off, the ECT at key-off is greater than 140°C (284°F) and system voltage is more than 12 volts. The fans will stay on for approximately 3 minutes.

The ECM commands High Speed Fans ON under the following conditions:

• ECT reaches 110°C (230°F).

• A/C refrigerant pressure exceeds 1 655 kPa (240 psi).
