Power steering fuse?

I was doing some wiring for my LED's in my 05 Cobalt LT and when I got in the car to drive, the steering wheel seem to seize up and it definetly fealt like my power steering **** out on me. Since I was doing electrical work, do you think I may of blown a fuse for the power steering? Can someone lead me in the right direction as to where the hell the fuse is?


I gotta fix this asap, I need to get to work tomorrow!

So I think I located the fuse....I believe its the EPS (the only 60amp fuse) but it looks fine. Power steering is gone, I tried disconnecting the battery and re-connecting it. NOTHING. What the hell would cause something like this to happen?

did you do any soldering? I had a problem like this when I painted my dash pieces. turns out there was a tiny bit too much of solder on my fog light switch (i accidentally ripped out the little light bulb inside of the switch when I disconnected it to paint it) that was causing my block to eat the fuse. therefore I lost all of my interior lights. check your solder connections and make sure they aren't too heavy

nope no soldering, i just spliced together quick release clips... that way I could tear it apart if I fucked something up....prime example.


I'm not blowing anymore fuses, the only reason I did was because I shorted out the line by touching the two live ends together.

So i just swapped all the EPS fuses out with my sisters LT, nothing happened. I have come to the conclusion that it is NOT a fuse problem. And therefore I dunno what the **** it is, so I'm gonna get drunk and call the dealership in the morning.
