power windows wont go down?
so i have had this problem off and on for the last few months but now its to the point where the windows wont go down at all. Basically none of the windows will go down from the driver side control switch's. I have the same problem with the back 2 doors they wont go down from either the drivers switch or the switch's on their doors. But the oddest part is the passenger side works but only if you use the windows switch on the passenger side door.
i checked all the fuses and even tried a new switch panel on the drivers side door thinking maybe it had a short in it preventing the other doors switchs not to work.
Any ideas on what this can be or how to resolve it?
Thanks.

there is a lock but only for the rear windows.
its so wired that all 3 windows would stop working and the only one would work would be the passenger side and only form the switch on thr passenger door.
i think the switch is still bad i ordere my replacement from ebay used so it could be bad as well.
i was thinking i could have locked the back windows and the switch could of shorted and thats why they wont go down. But what about the passenger side?? I dont know i'm going to swap the switch from another working cobalt and see how that goes...

Any ideas?
I confirmed that a switch from a friends cobalt didnt work in my car. Could the relay be bad ? The only window that is working is the passenger side. I also checked to see if the interior lights dimmed when i pressed the power window buttons on the none working windows and they dont. Assuming that means the wires went bad since there was no sign of a power draw?
