Is this a problem?

Is this a problem?

Ever since i had the car it's been doing this, but i've been noticing it more lately so i thought i'd ask.

Whenever i'm coming to a stop, whether in gear or out of gear, my car will make a faint whining noise until i come to a rest. Anybody else's car do this? I'm going to have my mechanic friend ride in it this weekend to see what he thinks.

does the pitch of the sound follow your RPMs?

i also notice that if you have a CAI, you can also hear a quieter whine coming from your blower as your rpms come down, on top of the transmission whine.

Not to answer for him, and especially since you probably hate me.. but in my case, the pitch of the sound DOES follow my rpm's.
