Problem with Halo Projectors

I recently installed a set of Halo Projector HID headlamps. Now every time I start her up,the right side hid lamp does not fire up. I have to turn the headlamp switch off then back on.I checked the wiring and everything there is good. I have no clue whats going on, any ideas please let me know. Thanks.

you bought the projectors + HID separately?

or as a kit from ebay?

if you bought it as a kit, this is the kind of thing that happens with poor quality HID bulbs and ballasts...

Re-check all your wiring. My guess is its a bad ballast. Try and contact the seller and see if you can get a new one.

when it tries to fire...do you hear a zapping noise from the headlight?
if so its a crap bulb.
otherwise its likely the ballast.

I havent heard any noise when firing them up but it did notice that sometimes it seems like it wants to fire up like it flickers real quick then goes out. What im confused with is Ill turn the headlamp switch off then back on and they will both fire up like normal. It seems to only happen when I start the car up and the auto feature kicks in.

It was a kit I got on ebay.

I know my wiring is good, I rechecked it like 3 times Like I said before it only seems to happen when the auto feature is used when first starting the car up.

I have the auto lamp feature, so I dont know if that would be the same as daytime runnning lamps. The switch is always set to auto, so when the ignition is turned on the lamps come on automatically, until I move the headlamp switch back.

well do you know which bulb is your DRLs?, because with the auto feature your drls would be on till they are automatically triggered to turn onto the lowbeams (when it becomes dark enough). HIDs need full power to them or they will flicker, just like the problem you are having; and by switching them to full on position this would fix the problem because they are getting the power they need to run.

To fix it you will have to somehow bypass the DRLs from the BCM or have the dealer turn them off... Until then you will have to always have your headlights on (which isnt bad thing).

Have the same problem man bought my kit on ebay and then as soon as i got it wen t to get it instal professionaly at first i thought it was the ballast so i got a new one and it was still doing the same thing. went to the guy who installed it to see if he did it wrong said it was all right. Thank god i thought i was the only one with this problem.

Sometimes when you turn on the car once side goes on and you have to shut them off and on again
