should have said Problem with fuel system... maybe???

first off its a 07 ss s/c 16000 kms. so i was turning left at an intersection, car was coming so i stepped on it, not too hard but my rpms got to about 6000 (first gear, and didnt touch the rev limiter), then my engine just shut off, power was still on but no engine. Rolled about 50 meters into a parking lot and tried to start again, starts to turn over and dies before rpms even get to 100. tried this a couple times then i let it cool down for like 5 mins. tried again and it started but running rough and a kind of ticking noise from the engine, not too loud but def. abnormal. could hear it the best around the fuel rail. i have a check engine light on now but i can drive it, it still has power, its boosting good but just has an abnormal sound to the engine. GM is closed right now so cant get it checked out. i pulled the plugs, there not carboned over but seem a little white on the tips(running rich?) also the car has been stuttering a little when i stop at a light every once and a while since i got it. like from 750 down to 450 rpm and back up and down, doesnt happen often but im guessing its a fuel delivery problem, not sure though. also just had my car in the shop for a semi anual last tues. any help is appreciated thx

i just went out and started my car again and the cel is gone but im thinking maybe i bent a valve... is that possible without causing and majorly noticable damage? also would that be coverred by warranty if it was the problem?
