This problem may be a new one....

Ok, this is weird but I think I might have a spider issue with my car

Seriously, I think it was a result of bringing in some stuff from my warehouse this past weekend. I loaded up a few boxes but left them in my trunk for a few days. Anyway, the other day while sitting in my car waiting for my classes to start I rolled down my window and I saw a spider do the Spider-Man-drop-and-hang-upside-down thing and then start to go back up

I got a tissue and crushed that sucker as soon as I could. I figured it was in one of the boxes and he somehow managed to make his way through my car and to my door cuz he was trying to crawl back in but he's gone now.

The thing is that I saw a mini spider web in the corner from my A pillar to my dash. It was just a few lines of web but it was enough to get me concerned to do something about this.

How do you fix a possible spider or bug issue in your car? I mean, is there a car bug bomb or something? The last thing I want is for one of these bad boys to bite me or someone else while I'm driving. And I'm hoping there was no laying of any eggs as well

Any ideas?

Yeah, like a mini car bug bomb, haha

For reals, this has never happened to me in any car I've owned and I've gone from junkers to new cars. Hell, I've driven a 60's Falcon and 75 Vette that had been sitting in a lot for years and I've never noticed a bug issue at all. Usually they tend to appear in cars that have been dormant for a while just collecting dust but apparently that's not the case with mine....

that sucks bro. i had the same issue with my car when it sat for 3days. little spiders all over. suck it up! there just spiders!! no i'm jk, but seriously you'd think they would crawl outta there after a lil bit. it's not like they have a gourmet of bugs to drink dry in your car. they should move elsewhere?

I had these in my past Rangers usually when I parked under trees over night, when i rolled the window down they came in and well it went from their...I usually caught them living in the seals of the doors, inside/under mirrors, and around the windshield wiper motors... weird.
I was in some chevy van for a ride back from GM, and I saw the same thing! This tiny ass spider hanging down lol.

I ended up spraying a rag lighly with raid and wiping areas i usually saw the spiders, and small tight areas (like under the bottom door seal n such).. no prob since then

Keep the windows up at all times and just use the AC. No bugs to eat = dead spiders.

Ahh... that's a pretty good idea. I'm gonna give that one a try and see what happens

I'm about as scared of spiders as just about everyone else but I won't freak out and hide in a corner hoping they'll go away, haha. I'll take a shoe or rag or bat or whatever is handy and solve that problem.

Haha, true true... Hopefully it was just that one but noticing that spider web really creeped me out and had me thinking there was another one in there somewhere. Hopefully it'll move out, especially after I take some raid to the car

I'm typically pretty good with bugs, but spiders scare the living **** out of me. I was setting up my gym in the basement and I had a HUGE ASS spider come out of nowhere and I screamed like a little girl **** SPIDERS!

lol i have a little wood spider living in my cobalt. little bastard puts his web from the dash to my seat all the time. I it hit it every time i get in. other than that he doesn't bug me and i don't bug him. There is one living in my blazer too, i usually see him running around my dash early in the morning when i leave work. I have a good relationship with my spiders, they stay out of my way and eat the bugs, i don't bother them

HAHAHAH A BAT! lol that was funny....Anyway...

I've got these little white spiders living in my freaking car...they're everywhere. Like there's about 5-6 of them...I've killed like 3, and I only see one or two laying around now. but like i'll get to my car, and it'll be like hunched up...I watched it for a while and it was spinning a freaking web! It looks cool and all, but I don't like spiders in my car...eventhough I really don't go out of my way to kill them...
