i have a catless downpipe but my codes are turned off w HP tuners and it still wont pass when the computer is hooked up to the OBD2 port. no one else i know has a problem at the same place my buddy work. any suggestions?

 

What inspections do you have to do on a 09 car? Did the computer fail your or did the visual inspection fail since you have no cat?

 

Did you remove the O2 sensor too? If so, the scan tool probably shows that it isn't getting a reading. Also, a visual inspection will fail too due to lack of cat.

 

its a computer test. its my buddy that does it. he would pass it but he has to plug it up and it keeps failing. but he does it with his car and it passes and he doesnt have a cat but he has a ss/sc idk if that makes a difference
