Well just got an update.

So far its been 8 days since I took my car in. They are saying that they part "may" be there by 10/15/05. In my opionion this is bs. My car had 650 miles on it is all when I took it in and its going to be 3 weeks to fix it Hell I just want them to take the car back and give me a new one or something. Or realistically why cant they just pull the part off of a car on the lot and install it on my car. At least then they would keep a current customer happy.

wow I just had to bring my ss/sc into the dealer because the sunroof had serious problems opening (at 500 mi. or so damnit)
The dealership told me it would take 3-4 days for them to get a new sunroof motor in !!
Im just worried that if they have to remove the headliner, it will all go back together correctly
I had a real bad experience with a dodge I owned and this same type of problem
The noises never stopped from the roof/liner area
So Im really leery of the whole deal ..... we will see

DONT let them hold the car until they get the part ... deal with the sunroof not opening until they get the part THEN take the car in ... when they are finished they may drive the car around for sound proofing to make sure there is a good seal but if they hear anything they will adjust it
