OK, I heard a bunch of clicking noises under the steering column. IT is the same noise when you put your foot on the brake to unlock the shifter. It would click a few times. I am certain that only when it does that, the trac light comes on. If the light stays on, eventually the engine light will come on. Since i found out that when the key gets stuck in the ignition and to get it out, you pull out the cup holder and set the trip mechanism.
I took that apart and used some ABS plumbing glue and smeared that all over the backing and held it in place. Since the pin is loose in that area and it makes the same clicking noise as I heard, I figured what the hell. Hopefully it helps solve the problem.
By the way, does anyone have a single 17 inch rim I can buy off them for my SS? I have one that is toasted and according to some of the pros around here, it can not be fixed and it cant b balanced at all.
