Problems

Just pulled off my fuel rail and my injectors for the sec time. The first time I put the rail back on the lat injector was leaky a lil so I redid it. They aren't leaking anymore but now im getting a LOUD hissing sound from that area. I thought maybe it was a fuel injector but they usually tick not hiss. I think it might be the pressured metal gas tube going into the fuel rail...any ideas?

also....my green shift light doesn't work, nor has it ever worked since I got my car. Does it only work when you get the upgrade (stage 1 or 2)...does anyone else have this problem?

Shift light never functions as a performace thing, its only there as an economy reminder in the base cars, and its turned off for the SS/SC.

Sounds like a vacuum leak, you did plug the little hose back into the manifold, right?

use the search for info about the shift light you are like the 10th to post that
and now the injector problem.
did u pull the fuse to the pump before taking of the rail then install when finished and turn car to on (not start) turn off then turn to on again let pressurize then start.
When you put the injectors back in did u feel a pop cuz they may not be in had same problem with my friends type r (hissing but no leak) 1 injector wasnt seated right

the injectors went in right...made sure...never unhooked the manifold hose...didn't turn my car on and off before starting it though...yes i pulled the fuse...its coming from where that line goes into the fuel rail...

Also...does anyone know where I can get aftermarket fuel injectors..I checked the links here and no one had them

I figured it out. Its the seating for my injector..i pushed it down with a screwdriver while running and it stopped hissing...it might be angled a little bit
