i am ordering a new MAF from gmpartsdirect. I gave them my vin number and they gave me the part number for the sensor. Now when I get the sensor and install it...do I need to do anything, like say go to a dealership to get it programmed...or will it just work fine after install

 

just install and you'll be fine

 

It will work fine.
just pay attention to the direction arrow on it for air flow so you dont install it backwards.
