So the other day I get in my car and my radio is showing all the crazy symbols it can, flash on then off, then bunch of different symbols over and over, worked fine though....then after a car shutdown and restart it worked normal again, any ideas?

 

Just be glad that's the least of your problems right now. Could just be a glitch. Have you not driven it in a while?

 

I drive it a couple of times a week i guess...
yeah maybe just a glitch my dic does it to, i will start up and it won't show anything till i push the "change" button then it will come on.

 

My thermometer will get stuck on the same temperature for days at a time, occasionally my odometer will read just the digit in the ten thousands place, gas gauge just does its own thing from time to time, all that kind of fun stuff.

 

i think mine all stemmed from who owned the car before me had a amp and box in the back, when i got it used i ended up noticing the amp wire they had run to the bcm was grounding out on the metal in the back, because they didn't tape it up.
