radio won't power on
radio won't power on
I posted this in the electronics forum, but I kinda need to get this fixed/replaced ASAP.
A few days ago my subs started acting up, they would skip beats and shut off, so last night I got bored and was messing with the crossover freq/gain and reconnecting wires from the amp to sub/amp to battery to see if those were the problem. unfortunately it was late at night so I couldnt test it out. This morning I go to turn it on and my radio won't even power up. THIS IS THE STOCK RADIO WITH A LINE OUT CONVERTER, so nothing from the amp goes to the HU. I didnt take out the HU at all, didn't even touch it.
I took it to a local audio place and they said my radio probably fried. its a 07 so I can't see a radio this new just frying. the car starts up just fine though??
any help appericated

Did you check the fuses, you failed to mention if you did.
If its the fuse your remote for the door locks wont work either I think.
Anyway the fuse is on the bcm on the passanger side marked RDO fuse #23 10amps.

Then your in line converter back fed some how into the radio,You didnt accidently wire the speaker feed wires to the amp and friy the radio that way.
If the fuses are okay then there is deffinitly some thing wrong with the HU
