Random alarm activation

Has anyone else had an issue with their alarm going off unprovoked? I installed projector headlights in my cobalt, and about 6 hours later, the alarm started to go off. After replacing the stock headlights, the alarm stayed silent for the night, but after driving to work, the alarm started to activate again. My car is an 07 model that I bought about 14 months ago, and I would think that replacing the stock headlights would have fixed the issue, but it does not seem to be the case.

neither did I, but their might be a ground that you might have removed upon install on the core support where the passenger side headlight bracket bolts to the core support. sometimes with GM cars the slight disconnect or addition of any resistance to the engine harness or body harness can make the vehicle do weird things. I am having issues with my alarm going off randomly if your still having issues PM me either way cause I would like to know if you solved and what the issue was!
