Rant about service

I just need to rant about the service I just got done. I just got off the phone with them telling me all of the problems I asked them to fix is completely normal. They fixed the headliner recall, recharged my AC system and said there is a leak they cannot find. So now I have to bring it back in 100-200 miles so they can use the black light to find the dye they just put in the system.

I'm also having an issue where I can't put it into 2nd gear easily, but they spoke to a Tech who has the exact same car and he said that's normal....lol Then on any incline when I park,I leave it in gear, and it continues to roll....oh the Tech said that is normal and just use your E-brake..... awesome... thanks for fixing it

My warranty expires on Monday so they are probably going to wait till I bring it back in to get the AC checked and be like oh yea....we see the problem now, pay us to fix this problem.... WTF! So my question is does anyone else have these problems or is it really normal for my car to roll across a parking lot in gear?

AC thing is always done that way its the only way to see a leak. 2nd gear can be a bitch sometimes, and it is normal for it to roll if its just in gear a tad(ull put way to much stress on the trans) hence why there is an ebrake.

they did nothing wrong

I know that its bad for the tranny to leave it in gear, I use the E-brake all the time anyway. But I just noticed it Tuesday when I went to rent some movies, I turned the car off and all of a sudden it just started to jerk and roll backwards before I could even get the brake on.

yep it will jerk slowly in little spurts. it has to release the load or itll cause damage. itll release..hold...release..hold.. til it reaches a spot that isnt as steep

That jerk ,release is the compression in the cylinders releasing. The 2 liters pistons are not big enough to hold the weight of the car with the compression in one cylinder on a incline and the car will roll the piston through its top dead center and once you have momentum it will push through the compression stroke alot easier.
