I have a rattle that doesnt happen all the time? When it does, it sounds like a bolt ar something bouncing around in my engine? I read a thread that said maybe a timing chain/hub problem? Could it be an oil related issue? Gm is pissing me off with there No fault found crap ! P.S. Any good downpipes for my 07 SS/SC, and will a magnaflow hi flow cat throw any codes?

it depends on were the noise is coming from. if its at the front of the valve cover, id say it would be the tensioner. however, a lot of people have had the blowers making noise that sound like rocks in a can, so have a good listen around the blower.

 

start it and let it idle without the belt then lol
