Mark called me at 8am and left me a voicemail, unfortunately he was only on 8-11 so I missed him by the time I got up from working overnight. I'm working overnight again tonight but I'm going to stay up after I get off at 6am to try to catch him at 8am. Will keep you posted on what his suggestion will be in this case.

Thank you for your help Sarah, really happy to see a Service Rep on here and hope you get better soon.

Is your ottp rear sway bar the new design? The old ones had an issue with contacting the twist beam or something causing a clunk noise....

Still working on this issue, meanwhile new issues found, driver door rubbing against the body on the top of the door, down to the metal

List of current issues:
1) Steering wheel rattle over bumps on rough surfaces at slow speeds.
2) Rear clunking on uneven surfaces
3) Headlights full of moisture
4) Foglight indicator on dash doesn't turn on
5) CEL for rear o2 sensor
6) Driver door rubbing against the frame of the car

I think if it gets to 10 before something is fixed, I might drive it off a cliff.

I don't get how dealerships dick people around. I've bad both my headlights replaced when 1 had condensation. I had my belt tensioner replaced with a nice zzp pulley next to it. Downpipe replaced with aftermarket exhaust attached lol. Trans, cables replaced after I "hit a bump". You should come to Reedman Toll Chevy. They play no games.

Oh and my strut mounts ALL around when I complained about front end noise

a guy in our club works at the local dealership and was telling me they break wheel lugs all the time and make customers pay for them. which is exactly why i stopped going there. told me i had a broken lug and wanted 300$ to fix. ********. and they do it to the people in this town all the time it seems. good source of income for the stealership. and for an employee to admit he does it and they dont mind because they charge the customer is worse.

I wish I had a dealership that cared like that around here..

Already filed a case with Chevy Customer Assistance Center.

That's exactly why I refuse to go back to that stealership, even if CCAC tells them to warranty my car.

Update on the case, spoke with case person, didn't feel like it got me anywhere, he now transferred the case to a "case specialist" who is supposed to call me back sometime this week.... so now it's just a waiting game again

oh and the passenger door rubs against the frame as well, I love how I didn't have any of these problems other than steering column rattle in my 05 LS, seems like the build quality just got worse.

Thursday, August 9th.

I finally get a call from the specialist but I miss it because I was outside installing new spark plugs I got after the Denso plugs incident.

Specialist's name is April, she leaves a voicemail, saying they tried reaching me yesterday (which is nonsense because I had my phone on me all day long and never got any phone calls). I call back about 8-10 minutes later and it goes to voicemail. I wait about 10 more mins and call again, rings and voicemail again. So I leave a voicemail for her, let's see how long it'll take for her to get back to me, I'm starting to get annoyed again.

Oh here's a clip of my new wavepool and a pic of my mobile mold growing facility.

3 weeks so far and NOTHING has been fixed.

Update: GM CAC called back, lady was siding with the dealership at first but then I started getting a little pissed off and she became more helpful at that point. She is calling another dealership tomorrow to explain the case and have them look at my car. Let's see how this goes.

I had a pretty bad experience with the local chevy dealership here. Wasn't even a warenty issue, was paying out of pocket for everything. They still dicked me around. Long story short; had a problem, took it to dealership, week and a half later got car back, paid 1200 bux, and problem was even worse. Too it back, and they would take a look, but said I'd have to keep paying out of pocket for everything they would be doing from that point on. I immediately called chevy customer service and had them deal with the dealership people. They got them to fix my car free of charge...

If you're willing to make the drive. The Fitzgerald Chevy cadalac volkswagen dealership in Frederick MD is amazing. My car wasn't even warrentied but they made the call to the dealership I bought the car from and made them pay for my new wiring harness. I have nothing but praise for them. I let them change the oil every other time to help support their buisiness. They won't screw you over.

It's a bit too far considering I'll probably need to either come back or to leave the car there for them to order parts. I'm currently dealing with Brown-Daub in Nazareth, PA. Going to take the car up there tomorrow morning.

updated headlights, mold is still growing:

If GM fails to compensate you on your headlights, before you go buy new ones try this...
Drill a small hole in the lowest point of your headlight. Like smaller than 1/8"
The water will drain and if the hole is correctly placed it will not let any water in.

the dealer i used to deal with was a ton of morons also. the sales department was great. When it came to service they sucked. I switched to a Cadillac dealer and they treat me like i own a Cadillac. When enterprise came to drop off a rental car for me they brought a accent the dealer saw it and made them take it back and bring me a GM car so i got a cobalt instead.

I thought about drilling but then it'll be blamed on me "oh you drilled this crap, you keep it we're not fixing it". And I mean headlights is just ONE thing out of many.

I would try to get new h/l's from dealer of course, but if you have no luck than I would drill before buying new ones

New issue, Svc Tire Monitor (fault at driver front wheel) keeps coming on every couple of days and staying on for a couple of restarts and then going off.

Well if this will make you feel any better...

Had the same key issue few weeks ago, took it to the "stealership" to have it fixed..

When it was there I had a few other issues, brake squeal, fogging/moisture in my headlights as well, and a squeal while driving...

Okay so first off the stealership fixed up my ignition and all that jazz under warranty, next they looked at my brakes and told me my rotors were out of line so I asked that should be warranty correct? seeing as I am still under bumper to bumper and it was't something I had done, there should be no reason for them to be out of line... But to no avail.. they wouldn't cover it.. oh and without asking, they machined all 4 of my rotors... headlights they told me would be covered under warranty... But after looking closely and noticing that I had changed my bulbs my self that I had caused the damage and they would no longer warranty it, but if I wanted new headlights it would be $450 for the pair... and they never did "find" my squeal whilst driving...

Anyways after all this, I drove away from the dealership with what I hoped was a fixed car...

But nope, first off brakes felt soft... I really had to push on them to get my braking power... like when you drive through a puddle...

Second driving squeal was there but even worse, and brake squeal was not fixed...

Okay so, took my car in to get my summers on when my buddy (tech at the tire shop) was like uh jon, your front pads aren't contacting your rotors..

So yea now I am pissed, I called the dealership back.... was told the manager would call me back... never got a call back... called 3 more times.. same deal..

So finally I called GM customer service, and filed a complaint... its been 3 weeks and I have't heard ****...

Damn man sorry to hear, it's pretty sad how now in order to get some quality work done to your car you have to fight a world war with stealerships and they'll use stupid ass excuses for everything. I'm just waiting to Thursday now to hear what excuses I'm going to get.

here's what I'm expecting

1) Steering wheel rattle over bumps on rough surfaces at slow speeds. -- Your fault you lowered the car
2) Rear clunking on uneven surfaces -- Same as above
3) Headlights full of moisture -- That's fine, just pull them out and drain them with every oil change
4) Foglight indicator on dash doesn't turn on -- You turned it on and off too many times and burned the bulb out
5) CEL for rear o2 sensor -- You installed ZZP catted DP
6) Driver & Passenger door rubbing against the frame of the car -- Stop slamming the door so hard when you close it
7) Svc Tire Pressure Monitor (fault at driver side front) keeps going on every couple days and going off after couple restarts and some driving. -- Shouldn't have installed wider tires

8/14/12 UPDATE: Got to wait until Thursday 8/16/12 for an appointment at 8am to get my car looked at.

8/16/12 1100hrs: steering column ordered, headlights ordered, tire pressure monitor front sensor ordered, oxygen sensor ordered, cluster panel ordered, rear clunking won't be fixed - blamed on pedders, doors rubbing won't get fixed - blamed on manufacturing design for coupes, no solution.
