Rear brake clunk
Has been intermittent since I bought it but figured i'd ask as I think i have to bring it into the dealer anyway for the LNF oil leak I think.
Seems like only in the morning whenever I come to a complete stop at a light, the rear brakes will clunk while I'm sitting there with my foot on the brake pedal.
Its one then the other or both or one. "clunk, clunk"
I had them check the slide pins and they said they looked fine when I first bought it, and just had all pads and rotors done, and it still did it.
Not sure what it is, or if its bad. My rear rotors don't have unusual wear or anything.
Thanks.

is it like a knocking sound? it's probably the trunk lever solenoid. for some reason it likes to re-lock itself for safety. it seems to do it quite randomly, but mostly a short time after the car is started. sounds like someone knocking on your back window.
Can't say i've ever heard of the trunk lever solenoid doing that. I always hear it after braking, and sitting at a stop. Its usually always a couple clunks.
Thanks for the input, its worth a shot.
