Angry rear ended

so i am waiting at a s top light a few cars back when i got rear ended by some kid. I was furious but thats besides the point. i contacted our insurance and what not and im waiting on the claim. I came to the conclusion that since the bumper is all chipped up n scratched thats what will need to be replaced. How much woulda bumper cost and should i go to the dealer for that or a body shop

if your going through insurance go to either the dealer if they even have a body shop or choose the most well know shop arround you. they may be more expensive but its well worth it. my friends ls was rear ended and the kid that hit them ended up paying 1000 for the rear bumper and paint plus another 350 for paint and repairs for the front bumper cuz they got pushed into the car ahead... thats all canuck monies tho eh but its just a rough idea

I wouldn't worry about the cost too much, the guy that hit you (or his insurer) will be picking up the tab

Just don't let them use the cheapest way out, make sure the work done is acceptable to you.

As said, you yourself shouldn't be worrying about the cost since it is his insurance that will be paying for it.
