Unhappy reduced engine power and cel

****... drivin around town today and was sorta gunning it then the car just sorta stopped, DIC shows reduced engine power and i got a cel. Idle sounds like dog **** and i dont have any boost just vacuum... any ideas? I just got 42lb injectors and the "stage" tune via hptupers yesterday along with porting the supercharger. We sorta smashed the wires that were on the connect that goes on top of the supercharger but nothing was cut... could that be an issue? i can easily cut the part that was smashed and rewire it but id much rather not

Scan for DTC's, see if anything comes up related to the sensor whose smashed wiring is now suspect.

Mine through about 8 codes for some reason right as I was heading up to the track. Crankshaft position, fuel relay, pedal voltage, and it wouldnt crank over (mainly because of the Crankshaft code) It finally did and went into Limp mode. Anyway, try just unplugging that blue clip on the top of the PCM letting it sit out for a minute, and then putting it back in. Thats what All Data told us to do, and it worked. Lol.

ah yes. the limp mode. since its a 2006 ss, im going to guess its the DTC p0068 map/maf vs TPS correlation. if you have that code show up just get hptuners and set that DTC to enable at 8000rpm. GM addressed this problem in the 2007s.

Two things:

Is the throttle body harness the one you 'squooshed'?
Did you ever turn the key ON with the throttle body disconnected?

not sure which harness is the throttle body harness. the smashed part was the connector right on top of the supercharger that has the 3 wires coming out

never turned the key on or started with any sensors or anything off

yes, OK. That sounds like the SCIP (supercharger inlet pressure) sensor. It could be involved in the codes you are getting, but I don't think so.

Do this...clear the codes and see if they recur. If they do, get with the supplier of the tune you used and ask them wassup.

The first week my car got tuned it was going into limp mode and having problems staying running. It's a drastic change you told the car to do. My suggestion would be to re-tune with it being less aggressive. Also would perform a re-learn on said car.

no. the sensor on top of the 'charger is teh supercharger inlet pressure sensor (SCIP)
those codes have nothing to do with the scip sensor. make sure your throttle body harness (underneath the throttlebody) is plugged in correctly and that the wires arent damaged.
