rocker rollers then and now

I dont think you all caught my post in the 2.4 section on my two cracked rocker rollers, well I have gotten the new ones today and the metal is thicker to prevent cracking and the lifter housing is smoother and deeper.Which now leads me to believe that GM knew of this problem and fixed it in the 07s and has not told us with the 05s and 06s.All three models use the identical lifters and rocker rollers=GM being sneaky

Very interesting... pictures would be cool... there might be a problem with the earlier roller-rockers.

Might not be a bad idea to replace all of them now while it's apart if you ended up getting a decent deal on them, just a thought, could save alot in the long run.

Edit: No pics showing up.

The picture is a little out of focus but the lighter area on the right rocker is wider. I agree with bredick that it would be a good idea to replace them all for peace of mind. Another day or two won't matter down the road. Can you also post the part number of the new ones you just bought? And we appreciate that you are being the "guinea pig" for these new cams....

I dont see them doing that any time soon though. Considering they seem to like denying every ones warrenty claims I doubt theyll do a recall.
