The replaced my front rotors and pads... at around 12k...

Pads had a ton of meat on them... the rotors were hella-grooved...

No questions asked.

Thanks to GM using random torque specs on each lug nut my rotors warped at 4,500 miles. It din't even cross my mind to check the lug nut torque on a new car.

I ended up replacing mine with cross drilled rotors and new pads (non GM pads)... My stock stuff didnt even make it 7k miles before they were completely warped.

I noticed mine started feeling warp a while back too. Maybe I should take my car into the dealer as well. I have almost 13k on them though.

GM has a huge problem with their rotors. My car as well has a pedal pulsation due to warped rotors. It's not going to cause a serious problem. It's just annoying as hell. I see this a lot at work. They say its because you aren't using your brakes hard enough. YEAH RIGHT. I beat my brakes everyday. This problem is due to the crap quality of their rotors. Bottom line.

I torque all of my wheels to spec, my rotors are fine.

Your dealer probably over torqued them.

I'm almost up to 14k miles.

I noticed after a couple thousand miles that my rotors were grooving rather badly. I haven't mentioned it to the dealer yet. I'm sure they will take care of it.
If it does it again, I think it would be time for some aftermarket hot rod rotors.

Mine were warped with less than 4000 kms on them. What brand/part number is everybody using for cross drilled slotted rotors?
