Rough start this morning.. Now it won't do anything
So yeah my car had a very rough start this morning and I didn't think much of it but just a few mins ago I went to start it again and it did nothing. All my radio equipment and everything comes on but the car won't start. No click or nothing.. Any ideas?

Where do I check the starter?
Now that I think about it my 'security' light came on and stayed on. How would I check that? It did this last night btw

In all honesty. I'm not really sure. Most of the times its a dealer thing. Normally they go defective and need to be replaced. From what i've heard any ways. I'd also do like one other guy suggested and double check your battery.

I'm assuming it was power on no crank? If so I'm pretty amazed that nobody has been right so far yet, although Seller is close. It's because it's cold out.

Happens every year when the temperature drops. Kinda surprised there isn't a sticky about it over here yet. It happens a lot.

Man, i live in Canada and it been -35 degrees celcius here in the maritimes for the past few weeks. And my ss/sc starts up everymornig like a champ. Peers like a kitten too. Sometimes it even sits for 2 straight days and still starts fine. But i guess every car is differnent !

Yeah, it's not necessarily every car that has this problem (mine hasn't ever, knock on wood), but it's a common occurrence with vehicles that use the ignition switch we have. Every winter we'd have 4-5 threads on RLF complaining about it, so I finally made a thread.
