Hey guys,

So, about a month ago, before my road trip, I ran a bottle of Seafoam in the car. First time. I ran it in my Olds and it was a great help. But not so much in the Cobalt..

It seemed to have bogged it down right after I ran it through.. Turns out that all of my plugs (a few weeks old then) were capped in white residue and were making the car run very off.. I also heard that Seafoam likes to gunk up 02 sensors. I'd assume that this is true, because my 02's were both replaced about a year ago and I'd venture to guess they're slightly gunked up also.. But I am going to pull them and check them when I fix my exhaust this week..

Anyone else have these issues after running??

I mean, it cleaned it nicely I guess, but it seems "sluggish"..

2 friends that i know did seafoaming on there cars. The seafoam files out you plugs really quick

 

This **** has been out forever, so I was surprised to find this out..

 

I only use seafoam before a plug change because it can foul your plugs...o2's should be fine though.

 

The plug and o2 sensor fouling is dependent on how much carbon buildup is in ur engine. clean off the plugs with a wire brush and some sand paper and stick them back in

I did. That's how I knew they were white capped.

And I highly doubt there was any amount of crap in my motor because I keep it ridiculously maintained.
