has anyone done this procedure ?

ran through the procedure, car does not start.. security light is now out tried removing the pcm and reinstalling the original but the security light is still out to try and relearn again..

wondering if anyone else had the same problem and what you did to correct it....

 

will have to give zz a call again, spoke with someone else and it seems it learned the security code since the security light is out, he suggests that maybe the vin was iccorectly installed, the outside tag is correct..
May be able to get it scanned locally to check vin...

 

there is an alternate procedure.

turn the key on without starting the car for at least 11 minutes, following that, attempt to start car, it may start, if it does not, repeat procedure two more times, your key is now learned.

 

OK, thank's i will give that a shot, still have not heard back from zz.. they may be closed for the holidays..

 

done for now, tried 6 times did not work, security light is still out.. wait for zz to contact me..I will try them again after christmas..

sorry it didnt work, quite likely the vin doesnt match then.

 

That is what i am thinking, also their is a clutch relearn procedure also that could be the cause..
