serious problem! need help!
yesterday i was driving and suddenly my "power steering" light came on. ive already taken my lsj to have the recall fixed. after the light came on, the hvac controls stopped working, windsheild wipers stopped working, lost power steering, and the buttons to change the user panel stopped working. when i parked and turned off the car it failed to start the next time. it makes no noise when i turn the key. i am able to pop the clutch to get it moving, but none of the things i mentioned work. anbody got ideas?

These are the codes it showed when it happened to me.
[PCM] P0036 - HO2S Heater Control Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2 (Old) (History) (Immature)
[PCM] P0121 - TP Sensor Circuit Insufficient Activity (Old) (Immature)
[PCM] P0140 - HO2S Circuit Insufficient Activity Bank 1 Sensor 2 (Old) (History) (Current) (Immature)
[PCM] P0141 - HO2S Heater Performance Bank 1 Sensor 2 (Old) (History) (Current) (Immature)
[PCM] P0335 - CKP Sensor A Circuit Performance (Old) (History) (Immature)

If you replace it you have to wonder what caused it to blow in the first place.
Aloose connector could do it,check the connector on the power steering motor first to make sure it is tight ,but there could be something internally wrong with the motor.
Something similar happened to me and i threw a few codes. Took 15 minutes to get the thing cranked over. Still kind of new to the lsj so someone else might chime and help you out. Would asume one of your sensors had a spasm though.

Have in common,
If you take out the ckp out of the mix then a loose emiss fuse under the hood.
A lot of this stuff can rattle loose to from wheel hop.
any ideas on this? can fuses blow from a hard bump? like a pot hole or sumthing similar? i was drivin on a terribly paved raod jus before it happened...
so if say i have been driving at near WOT rather often, and i chirp second every 2 or 3 times, these particular connectors can wiggle themselves loose?
Not the connectors but the fuse can rattle themselves loose and if they do could cause them to blow.
But intermitten problems start occurring usually before that happens.
Glad to see you got it running.
