Service Air Bag

Service Air Bag light keeps coming on my car. Anyone know anything about this if it's just a false code or if it's a legitimate problem?

Tom

Bring it in. When this happened to me my whole system shorted out. they had to replace all the wiring. when that light is on, your airbag is not active

ooo fun. Well I don't plan on crashing so hopefully I'll be ok. I'll probably bring it in this weekend possibly.

if it keeps coming up, check your passenger seat underneath the front of it is a clip for the weight sensor. mine came off a few times from the seat being pushed to far forward it pulled the clip out.

2005's didn't have the passenger sensing air bag monitors. This is most likely for the driver side air bag I bet.

if you bumped and it came on, just check the connectors under your passenger seat... they may have jarred loose.
