service air bag?
service air bag?
So today I was driving into a parking lot, at a normal speed, which is separated from the road by a normal gutter. It turned out to be deeper than average, not big enough to bottom out or anything, but now the air bag light turns on and now reads "service air bag" on start up. Is this something serious or just a loose wire or sensor? 09TC if it helps =/
i have a 09 tc, when i was camping for a weekend got my car stuck in the mud twice then didnt move it for 2 days, when i started it, it said this. im like thats not good, i honked the horn a few times shut off the car and turned it back on and it was gone.
I had my car sit for 6 weeks while I was in Texas. Came home and it was hard to start and I had the air bag light on...shut it off and turned on a couple times before it went away. I don't know why it happens...
I have an 09 turbo. Had service airbag message. Took it to local chevy dealer. The code was B0012
(02) Drivers air bag. They removed air bag module, found poor terminal tension at connector. Repaired pin tension and drivers air bag connector. Reconnected and seated termiinal CPA. Cleared codes. Test drive for several miles. Probably fixed. This work was done 3 weeks ago.
I tried fixing it myself by cleaning various connectors. The problem would go away for a few days then I'd get the service airbag message.
