I replaced the factory knob with another one I had laying around. When I took off the shifter boot, the plastic ring that the fabric is stapled to broke. Dealer said it was my fault, so no warranty for me. Is there a place to get one cheaper than 50 bucks at the dealer? Keep in mind, it's not the fabric, it's the plastic piece that snaps into the console.

ummmm....super glue ftw!

 

Super glue FTL! Tried that- didn't work. The glue just didn't take. I think a small piece of the plastic broke off. I may just have to get a new one from the dealer unless someone has one laying around they're not using.
