Ok you know when you shift into reverse then you shift out of reverse ?? Do you know that lock that prevents you from shifting into R when your driving forward it releases and you hear and feel it release?....well sometimes when i shift from first to 2nd i feel it clunk.....Any thoughts on this???

 

I had the same problem. After 2 months and yelling at the dealer, my problem was my CV Axles were bad and they replaced them both.

 

I heard a click like something snapped last night when i was putting it in reverse. But everything was fine and still is alright. And i always had that clunk from 1st to second! It feels like the car goes back and then front, like the clutch doesn't grab and then all of a sudden grabs really hard. I guess I should go to my dealer soon.... ?

 

I've always had a clunk in the shifter itself. I clunk going into first and now into second when moving through the gears at a dead stop.

 

the shifter is also a cheap pos

 

The click happens sometimes when going from reverse to foward, or vice versa. It's the muffler moving slightly and tapping.
