so both of my side view mirrors have been kicked off. One was kicked off completely so i got it replaced and now realize that it wasn't painted to color match, and it just bland black plastic. the other side view mirror got kicked off but it stayed in tact to the car, the mirror was shattered and the top color-matched plastic piece is gone. I was looking to see where I can order the piece for this (driver and passenger) and have them painted to color match again, cause they look like ****.

Pic below of the missing piece id like to order for both sides. I've looked online, but apparently not well enough to find anything without having to completely reorder the entire side view mirror. it seems to just clip it, so do you think maybe it would be possible to pry the pieces off a car in a junk yard or something?

 

You can swap them over from other Cobalts, but only the SS came with the color match ones, which makes them harder to find in junk yards.

If nothing else, CED does sell them on their own for $33. I'm not seeing black on their website, but if you call them I'm sure they have it as well.

 

Not only SS' came with the matching mirrors. My 06 LT has them. Just spends on the trim level I guess?

and im guessing they can just snap on than? i might try a junky yard also since ~75$ for both after shipping kinda sucks but its good to know the options.
