Slave line leaking everywhere!!!

So I decided to do my own clutch job for the first time. What a pain in the royal behind!! Holy ****! Had to take trannt back out 4 times! The damn slave line kept leaking fluid all over the clutch! And we have no idea y. It was seated we'll, had the seal in, and the clip. Also tried a new clutch pipe and it still leaked. FiNally thought we had it. Got it all back together. Started it and still leaking! Never doing a clutch in these card again. Does anyone here have any IDEa why the top of the clutch pipe where the slave line hooks up would be doing this? Also when bleeding the itch one of the times. We heard a pop and there was oil all over clutch again! Maybe the tob seal is defective? I'm so lost and frustrated. Too the shop or goes!

That top hat o ring? The plastic retainer for the top of the clutch pipe?

Or the little rubber piece at the end of the clutch pipe that goes Into the Slave line?

The little rubber o-ring. Make sure it's actually clipped into place on the clutch pipe, and facing the right direction.

i have a complete clutch line for sale if your interested in trying to replace it.....pedal cylinder, clutch line, clutch elbow, and throw out bearing pipe nipple seal.

if you didnt want to try the pedal cylinder i would separate that from the deal to make it a lower price

My new clutch pipe didn't come with a new plastic retainer. And we made sure it was facing the right way. The first time we put tranny on we lost the little rubber tip seal. Then I found it on ground. So we put it on and it still leaked. I'm fu**en pissed about it all. I sent it to shop today to be handled by an experienced mechanic.

So are u saying my new clutch pipe from crate engine had a rubber on it already and I was trying to shove two in there. Because the stock/original one was prolly stuck in the slave line? This makes sense. I checked the crate engine depot site and it shows the rubber seal piece in the picture!

So if this is the issue can the shop I sent it to just drain whatever is in the bellhousing, bleed the clutch and I'm good to go?

Ok need some help. Sent car to shop now. The car will not disengage the clutch. Of I start it it will just drive away. Clutch pedal doesn't work? No idea what the hell is up but hopefully shop tells me what's up by Tuesday. Any ideas what would cause that? I don't understand how we could so royally screw up putting a clutch kit in

Ya I think we did. But would when we took the slave line off and took those out it would release the pressure?

So mechanic spun my tires on the lift. And only one tire spun. The other tire isn't spin the opposite way. App. When we pulled the output shafts or sometning we spun them and a bearing fell into tranny case. That is the dumbest design I have ever heard off. Like why did gm use a 1980 design for the tranny. I did have two seals in and that's why it was leaking. The throwout bearing was stuck out because of the built up pressure. He says it's fine. If the clutch did grab it woulda blew my tranny apart.

Can anyone clarify why exactly the bearing fell into the tranny?

That was a spider gear. Tell him to have fun tearing the trans apart to put it back in place.

Ya that's exactly it. Like a diff bearing. He sent it out to get pulled apart. The two seals in the slave line relle saved my ass. But why did it fall out and how come I've never heard or been told to be careful with the shafts?

Trans job from hell

Better luck next time. As a habit, I stick a screwdriver through the diff if i'm going to have both axles out for a long time, just to prevent those type of issues. It has never happened to me but it's something that my dad always did and I saw growing up so i'm leery of that exact problem.
